Eye Liners

I brought this set of eye liners from Superdrug a couple of weeks ago in the gift section and thought that I would buy them as a gift for someone but ended up keeping them for myself as I got something else. They were under the brand Studio and having looked on the Superdrug website I cant seem to find them anymore but can find some other products from them which I haven't tried.

The product that I picked up was an eye liner set as I already said in total their was 7 different eye liners in the set and im not sure on the price but they were no more than £10, which I think is a great price. The 7 different eye liners that you get in this set are Caviar Black, Winter White, Summer Green, Blue Velvet, Purple Silk, Silver Moonbeam and Gold Ingot.
Colours from left to right... Blue Velvet, Summer Green, Purple Silk, Gold Ingot,
Silver Moonbeam, Caviar Black and Winter White
Each of the eye liners i personally think have great pay off and all off the colour by the black and the white have some shimmer and make them look slightly metallic which I like as most of the coloured eye liners that I own do not have any shimmer to them.I love these eye liners for using on my top lash line or on my bottom lash line however, I will say though that if you were to use them on the water line you do have to keep applying it a bit when first applying as the colour pay off is not as good as it is too skin which is not a problem for me as I never put coloured eye liner on my water line but I have tried using the winter white one which I did find that took a while to get good colour pay off when applying to my water line.

Overall if these are the sort of thing that you would use and you can find them i think they are great quality and price

Nail Polish

So 2011 is nearly over and i no everyone says this but this year has gone fast so since its nearly the end of the year i thought i would share with you my 10 favourite nail polish of 2011, but i cheated and made it 12 as two are base/top coats so i thought that i would get away with it. I haven't put them in any order as i found it too hard to pick.
So for my clear base/top coat my favourites of 2011 have been two from Sally Hansen one is the
is the Diamond Shine and the second one is the Hard as Nails with Nylon, both of these i like as i find that they make my nail polish look nicer.

So now on the my 10 favourite nail polishes for 2011.
The first one is from Barry M and it is one of their nail paints in the colour 'Red Glitter' 150 this has been a new favourite of mine this year as i have used started using it again these last couple of months to get me in the Christmas mood and it has defiantly helped i find that i dont need to apply a red nail polish underneath this as after two coats of this it look amazing the only problem i have with this nail polish and any glittery nail polish is that it is a nightmare to get off.
Barry M- Red Glitter 150
Another Barry M favourite is 'Peach Melba' 318, i love this colour in the summer when i have a tan because i find that it just makes my tan look even better, this colour does not have any shimmer or glitter in it so its great  for everyday wear and looks great with what ever you wear.
Barry M- Peach Melba 318
Another colour that has been a favourite this year is one by Rimmel London and its one of the I Love Lasting Finish nail polishes i have mine in 'Pop!' 265 i also love this colour is the summer as it is a bright orange that is a suitable colour of orange to wear as i sometimes find that orange nail polish does not look to nice on my nails, this has not shimmer or glitter inside it.
Rimmel London I love lasting finish- Pop! 265
The fourth nail polish is one by 17 in the lasting fix line its in the colour 'Pink Grapefruit' this is a pink as you can tell by the name i dont tend to like to wear pink nail polish for some reason but this one i love as i find that it is not to baby pink and is not to in your face, i also love wearing this colour in the summer as it is a fun colour however i tend to wear it all year round, this colour also like the last few does not have any shimmer or glitter in it.
17 Lasting fix- Pink Grapefruit
Half way their so this one doesn't really have a name as i got it in a Charlie set which is typically a perfume sprays, anyway this colour i love love love on my toes when i had a tan because it looks amazing the colour i would say is in-between a orange and a peach colour, but honestly its such an amazing colour and this is one of the nail polishes that im going to be sad when it runs out. This like the rest has no shimmer or glitter.

Also another one from the Charlie set which i have no name for is a colour that i like to wear all year round its in-between a purple and a pink but its like a creamy colour its weird so look at but i love to wear this colour as i just like the way it look, it also has no shimmer and glitter.

The seventh one is by 17 in the fast finish line and its in the colour 'Peacock' i tend to wear this colour most time of the year except summer as it is a darker colour but it is one that i love its a mixture between blue and green with a little bit a silver and gold depending how the light is shinning onto it, this nail polish has a lot of shimmer which look slightly different colours depending how you look at it.
17 Fast Finish- Peacock
Another one of my favourites for this year is one that ive probably worn the most throughout the whole year as it i tend to wear it when i dont want any colour on just to make my nails look more nice its one my No7 and its one of their Stay Perfect and its in the colour 'Nougat' 10
the easiest way to tell you what this colour is, is by saying the colour of your nail its doesn't have any shimmer or glitter. But i just love wearing this so that my nails look nicer when i cant be bothered to paint them.
No7 Stay Perfect- Nougat 10
Another colour which i tend to use is i cant be bothered to paint my nails is another one by Sally Hansen from the Hard as Nails and its in the colour 'Sheerly Opal' this is a very similar colour to the last one except this one has blue and purple reflex when you look at it in some light which i like as it can add something, if like i said cant be bothered to paint my nails, but also i find that i sometimes apply this over different nail polishes.
Sally Hansen Hard as Nails- Sheerly Opal

Last but not least one of my favourites for 2011 is one by Accessorize this one doesn't have a name because i got it in a set last Christmas i think along with a load of other mini nail polish, anyway this is a basic silver colour and i love wearing this most of the year round and these last few months, their is nothing special and different about this silver but its the only silver nail polish i own this doesn't have any glitter in but it does have some shimmer.

Hope you enjoyed :)

Revlon ColorStay

So this is my first post I hope you enjoy.

I brought this foundation about 3 months ago, after reading lots of good review about it and it did not disappoint me.

In the whole line their are two different ones you can buy that are formulated for your skin either the one for combination/oily or the one which I went for which is the normal/dry skin, each of the two have a slightly different bottle as combination/oily skin one comes with a black top and the normal/dry skin one came with a clear with black underneath which I did not realised until after buying the foundation as I would have picked the other due to my skin being slightly oily. Each of them come with 9 shades I believe which I think is a okay
selection as it does mean you will be able to find a colour to suit your skin.

REVLON® COLORSTAY™ MAKEUP FOR COMBINATION/OILY SKIN
I picked mine up at Superdrug and it cost me £12.49 for a 30ml bottle, the colour that I went for was 200 nude and I found that this colour fitted my skin perfectly, I applied my with a foundation brush and found that it left skin looking flawless. It gave me a medium coverage which I found good and great for everyday use since im in school and it manage to cover up any problems that I had without using concealer most of the time. I would apply mine in the morning around 8m and needed it to last for around 4pm I found that by this time my foundation still looked good but you could see that it had worn a little, the foundation says that it will last up to 16 hours so I wouldn't no whether it lasts that long as I only wear mine for around 8, however if I do want to wear it after this to go out I do find myself reapplying it as I find that it makes the foundation look better.

The packaging for the bottle is glass and has a screw lid which then allows you to pour out your foundation I dont tend to like foundations like this as I find that sometimes I end up with too much foundation or when I get to the end I can't get what is left out. Also I can be quite clumsy and so dont like glass bottles as I always manage to drop them and if I do and they brake which means ive wasted product lucky I didnt manage to do that with this foundation but I did manage to drop it and found that it left a crack in the lid and ended up the the foundation leaking into the lid and wasting some of the product.

Overall I do like this product and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a foundation that wants a medium coverage and last for a good amount of time.

Hope this was of some help :)
